Keith’s Story

Keith Killeen enjoys taking his Weimaraner dog for a 50-55 minute daily walk on a local beach in Ireland. He routinely visits a respiratory consultant to manage his asthma, which has been worsening a bit as he’s gotten older. During the course of one of his appointments the consultant noticed a very, very small tumor which, after a period of careful monitoring, was diagnosed as lung cancer. Because of his asthma Keith’s doctor felt that surgery wasn’t an option for him and instead recommended treatment with the CyberKnife® System. Keith was treated with the system for this tumor as well as a second tumor that was later diagnosed in his other lung. He is sharing his story to encourage people to take the actions necessary to manage their health.
